The Workforce1 NYC Transportation Center is a free service that helps New Yorkers find jobs and training in the transportation industry. In the last year, we helped over 1,000 people get jobs and earn promotions!
We are currently screening for a Warehouse Associates for Immediate hire!
Requirements:
• Candidates must have 2 years of warehouse experience
• Must be Bilingual Spanish/English
• Previous Fork Lift experience required, Fork Lift Certification preferred!
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required, with clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Must be able to do heavy lifting; and ability to work early AM shift
• Must be a NYC Resident; Residents of Queens, preferably in or near Ozone Park
To be considered, applicants must first complete a two-day training program that covers interviewing skills, business communications, career strategies and more. Upon successful completion of this training program, qualified applicants will be scheduled for interviews.
